Remember that girls trip we took to Cabo two years ago? I had a dress almost exactly like this one. We were walking down by the water to get golden hour pictures, and the wind was just howling. It kept blowing the front of my silk dress straight up like Marilyn Monroe! I spent half the time desperately holding down the front while trying to smile over my shoulder so you could get the back of the dress in the shot. Honestly we were laughing so hard we were crying. It looks so comfy. I love a backless dress outfit that doesn’t feel like a costume, you know? Like you just threw it on to go buy some fresh peaches and flowers but you happen to look like a literal model.

Elegance is only beauty that never… fades! Seriously, a soft draped back is timeless. My mom actually wore a dress similar to this in the 90s and looking at her old photos makes me want to steal her entire vintage wardrobe.

Everyone needs a good nude or neutral dress in their closet. It’s basically a blank canvas. Plus, getting it on sale is always a massive win. You can dress this up with heels or down with some cute white sneakers and a denim jacket draped off your shoulders so you still show off the back.
