Trendiest 16+ Baby Tee Outfit Ideas You NEED to Try

Heyyy! Omg, what are you even doing right now? I feel like I literally haven’t seen you in a month and I am having major withdrawals. I am currently just sitting here on the floor of my bedroom completely surrounded by a mountain of clothes. I woke up with this sudden burst of energy and tried to do a massive closet cleanout this morning, but it totally backfired on me. Now I just have piles of random stuff everywhere and I gave up. I’m just sitting in the middle of the chaos drinking a massive iced chai latte and ignoring the mess completely. Anyway, since I am clearly avoiding my responsibilities today, I figured I would just write to you because I desperately need to show you what I’ve been looking at online for the last two hours.

So listen, I was going through this old box of my childhood stuff from middle school that my mom brought down from the reservation last time she visited. And oh my gosh, I found my absolute favorite tiny little graphic shirt from when I was like ten years old. I thought it would be so hilarious to try and squeeze into it just to send you a funny Snapchat, right? Huge mistake. My head literally got stuck in the collar. I was panicking and flailing my arms around like a T-Rex because I couldn’t breathe. My older brother heard me crashing around and came into my room, and he literally had to peel it off my face while laughing hysterically at me. He will not stop bringing it up in the family group chat now.

I realized I actually really miss wearing tiny little shirts. I feel like it is literally the ultimate uniform for us this spring and summer. You just pair a little fitted top with some super baggy jeans or a cute maxi skirt, and you instantly look like you belong on a cool 90s sitcom. The proportions just work so well. It’s giving “I’m just running to get a matcha” but making it fashion.

I put together this huge list of my favorite pins I found this morning.

20 Baby Tee Outfit Ideas to Wear Right Now: Y2K-Inspired

Okay please look at this first one. The Y2K revival is still going so strong and I am honestly not even mad about it anymore. This is exactly the kind of top we used to beg our moms to buy us at the mall. It just looks so incredibly cute with some simple denim. I feel like you could wear this to practically anything casual and look amazing.

Luna Moth Baby Tee, Coquette Baby

This whole coquette aesthetic with the little ribbons and nature graphics is literally everywhere right now. I wasn’t totally sold on it at first because it felt a little too girly for me, but seeing it on a fitted little shirt like this totally changes my mind. It’s so soft and sweet.

I Love Paris Baby Tee Inspo

You cannot go wrong with a classic touristy graphic. Remember that horrible neon “I Love NY” shirt my dad bought me when we went on that school trip? This is like the elevated, cool-girl version of that. I would 100% wear this under a leather jacket for a night out.

Chic Styles and Travel Outfits

This is giving me such major airport outfit inspiration. Just a comfy little top paired with some loose sweatpants or cargo pants. You look completely put together but you can still totally curl up and sleep in the passenger seat when we go on our next road trip.

Everyday Casual Fit Inspo

This right here is an absolute lifesaver for those chaotic mornings when you have no idea what to wear. It’s just a foolproof formula. Little shirt, big pants, cool sneakers. Done.

Lana Del Rey Aesthetic Top

Omg you already know I had to include something Lana related. We are literally her biggest fans. I swear if we get tickets to her next tour, we are absolutely wearing matching little tops like this. It has that perfect vintage, slightly moody vibe that we always try to go for.

The Perfect Baby Tee Outfit Idea

Whenever I am having a complete fashion crisis, I look at pins exactly like this one. It just proves that a basic baby tee outfit doesn’t have to be complicated to look good. Sometimes the simplest pieces in your closet actually make the best looks if you just style your hair nice and add some chunky jewelry.

Cherub Baby Tee Styled with Low-Waisted Denim

Okay so we need to talk about the low-waisted jeans coming back. I am still a little bit traumatized from high school when I constantly felt like my pants were falling down. But seeing it paired with a shirt that actually hits right at the hip bone? It actually looks really flattering. I might have to be brave and try this soon.

Cool Downtown City Outfit

This is exactly what I want to wear when we go downtown to get iced coffees this weekend. It just looks so effortlessly cool. Please remind me to buy some more cool sunglasses to match this kind of energy.

Meji Meji Lagos Babe Fitted Tee

I love finding unique little independent brands that make cool graphic tops. Having a shirt with a really specific graphic just acts as such a good conversation starter when you’re out at a bar or a cafe.

Cropped Women’s T-Shirt Styling

So, last weekend I went to the state fair with my cousins, right? I wore this super cute white cropped shirt. We were walking around, and within literally the first ten minutes, I managed to drop a massive piece of greasy Indian taco right on my chest. The stain was bright orange. I had to walk around the entire fairground all day trying to cover it with my purse. My cousins were making fun of me the entire time. Lesson learned – if I’m eating messy food, I am wearing black from now on haha. But otherwise, this fit is flawless.

90s Baggy Streetwear Fits to Recreate

This is the ultimate Kim Possible aesthetic and I am totally here for it. The contrast between a tiny fitted top and massive parachute pants is just peak streetwear fashion right now. It is so comfortable but looks like you put a lot of thought into the silhouette.

Roma Striped Henley Top Vibe

Stripes are always a good idea. A little henley style top with the buttons adds just enough detail so the outfit doesn’t look totally boring. I think you would look absolutely amazing in this exact color palette.

New York Taxi Baby Tee

Again with the cool graphic tees! I just love the vintage yellow cab print on this. I still really want us to plan a trip to NYC this fall, by the way. If we go, we are definitely dressing like cool locals and not tourists.

Graphic Tee Outfit for Women

I swear a good graphic is the easiest way to show off your personality without having to say a word. Just throw it on with your favorite beaten-up jeans and some Converse, and you are totally set for the day. So easy.

Casual Layered Fit Inspiration

Layering a little zip-up hoodie or a cardigan over these tiny shirts is my favorite trick. You know how the weather here is so unpredictable lately.
