Okay but lavender nails have been my entire personality for the last month and I need everyone to know
Listen. I didn’t mean for this to happen. It started with one innocent “maybe I’ll try something soft for spring” and now I own eight different lavender polishes and my camera roll is 90% hand pics under blooming trees. My boyfriend asked if I was starting a lavender nail cult. Honestly? He’s not wrong.
True story time. Last week I wore lavender nails to my cousin’s baby shower (pastel theme, obviously) and three separate aunts asked me for my nail girl’s number. One of them whispered “I’m sixty-two and I want those” like it was an illegal substance. I felt like a drug dealer of good taste.
Another confession. Two years ago I swore I hated purple. Like actually told my nail tech “anything but purple, ever.” Then I saw one photo of milky lavender chrome and folded faster than a lawn chair. Now I’m here writing this while staring at my toes that are also lavender because commitment is my love language apparently.
Anyway, I’m fully deep in the lavender nails rabbit hole again and these are the ones currently making me feral. Send help or just come paint my nails with me at 2 a.m., either works.
