The 3 Most Important Trends You Can’t Miss This Summer

Trend Number One: Polka Dots Everywhere

The very first trend’s something you can actually already see right on my face, and those’re polka dots. Yes, polka dots’re making a massive comeback for summer 2026, and they’ll be absolutely everywhere. I’m currently using this cute little stamp to put little faux freckle dots on my cheeks, and it totally fits the whole vibe.

But we’re also talking about clothing here. You’ll see dotted dresses, dotted skirts, and dotted blouses. I don’t know who doesn’t like polka dots, but if you’re one of those people, I honestly can’t help you anymore. They’re just so playful and fun. They give off this really cute, slightly retro aesthetic that completely works for warm weather. You can wear a cute little spotted sundress to a picnic, or you can rock a dotted top for a night out with your friends.

People always think they look too childish, but it honestly just depends entirely on how you style them. You don’t need to look like Minnie Mouse if you don’t want to. It’s all about balance. A tiny polka dot scarf tied around your favorite handbag adds just the right amount of pattern. Or maybe you’ll just rock the dotted freckles like I’m doing today. If you pair them with the right accessories, they look incredibly chic and sophisticated. So please don’t be afraid to embrace the dots this year.

Trend Number Two: Suede

The next massive trend for summer 2026’s suede. I’m going to be completely honest with you guys right now, I know almost nobody who actually likes suede.

It’s such a highly debated material, especially for the warmer months. People always complain that it gets ruined too easily or that it feels too heavy for summer. Guys, please say get well soon to Paco in the comments. He’s feeling a little bit under the weather today, poor little guy. He’s been sleeping there for like two hours straight. I think he’s got a tiny tummy ache today.

But anyway, back to the fashion stuff. I lowkey fully like suede a lot. You can definitely vote down below on how you find suede yourself, because I genuinely want to know your opinions. I think it adds such a cool, textural element to an outfit. A light suede fringe jacket or a cute little suede mini skirt looks absolutely amazing for a summer festival vibe. It brings this awesome bohemian energy that just totally screams summer 2026 to me. You don’t have to wear a heavy winter coat, obviously, but just a touch of suede here and there’s perfect.

A suede bag’s also a fantastic way to ease into the trend if you aren’t fully committed yet. Because it’s honestly beautiful, and you really need to give it a fair chance. Please stop saying that suede’s ugly, by the way. You just aren’t styling it correctly if you think it looks bad. When you pair it with lighter fabrics like cotton or linen, it creates the most gorgeous contrast.

New Makeup and Room Organization

I’m applying my absolute favorite mascara right now, btw. It gives me the craziest volume and length without ever clumping up. The wand’s perfectly shaped to grab every single tiny little lash in the corners of my eyes. Plus, it totally doesn’t smudge under my eyes when I’m sweating in the summer heat. Guys, I’m so incredibly happy that all my things’re finally here.

My massive makeup delivery finally arrived this morning, and there’re boxes stacked everywhere in my room right now. Honestly, dealing with all these cardboard boxes’s stressing me out a little bit right now. I’ve got so much trash to throw out later.

I’ll put it all away in those new acrylic organizers later tonight when I’ve got some free time. It’s going to be such a huge project, but I’m so ready for it.

Trend Number Three: The Beauty of Lace

And the very last thing that’ll be completely in for this season, which I’m actually already wearing right now’s lace. I totally love it. I love lace so much, I love all of it, and it just looks so incredibly beautiful on everyone. I’m wearing this delicate little white lace camisole today, and it just feels so romantic and perfect for a warm summer afternoon. Lace’s going to be a huge staple for summer 2026.

We’ll see lace slip dresses, lace trims on basic tees, and fully sheer lace tops layered over cute bralettes. It adds such a soft, feminine touch to absolutely any outfit you put together. It gives off that gorgeous, soft-girl aesthetic everyone’s totally obsessed with right now. You just can’t deny how elegant it makes you feel when you wear it. You can dress it up for a fancy dinner date, or you can easily dress it down with some baggy vintage jeans for a casual coffee run.

It’s incredibly versatile. Now please don’t write in the comments that you hate lace. I know some people think it looks like grandma curtains or whatever, but they’re just wrong. Don’t say oh my god, I hate lace, it looks ugly. It simply doesn’t look ugly, because lace’s never ugly. You just have to find the right pattern and the right quality, and I promise you’ll completely fall in love with it too. So please don’t let anyone convince you otherwise. Trust me, you’ll feel like an absolute princess when you find the perfect lace piece.
