Every January the art aisle fills up with fresh sketchbooks and everyone swears this is the year they finally start drawing again! Then most of those sketchbooks sit blank on a shelf because nobody knows where to start. That’s usually the actual problem, not talent or time.
This list exists to fix that. I scrolled through way too many art pins looking for ideas that a beginner could actually pull off at a kitchen table, not just admire from a distance.
Some of these are full paintings. Others are quick sketches you can knock out on a lunch break. A few are just about setting up a corner of your home so you actually want to sit down and make something.
