Looking for tall glass candle holders decor with a little something extra? Think white pillars, pink sculptural shapes and clear cylinders surrounded by flowers.
These pictures include dining table arrangements, floor stands and a few smaller holders if you want to mix things up.
You can keep it simple or go all out. There’s also one floral project without a visible candle holder, included as color inspiration rather than a finished candle display.
For arrangements with greenery or decorations close to candles, choose flameless candles.
Glass Candle Displays Worth Saving
white candles and tiny flowers
We’re starting off strong with this gorgeous row of white candles and tiny white flowers. I love how the clear cylinders sit at different heights all along the table.
Keep your plates and napkins white if you want to follow this look. The flowers already give you plenty of detail.
floating candles and floral details
How pretty are these floating candle combinations? This collage has everything from pink roses to pearl-like strands inside tall clear cylinders.
The white flowers are lovely if you want something understated. I’d choose the pink accents for a little more color.
smoky glass on black stands
Don’t want to go all out with flowers? No problem! These three black floor stands have smoky glass cups and plain cream candles.
I love the different heights beside the black-framed doorway. Try a staggered group like this in an uncluttered corner.
red berries and floating lights
This is such a pretty idea for a holiday table. Red berries sit beneath the floating white candles, with leafy branches and little votives around the base.

Keep the cylinders at different heights to follow this arrangement. Those little touches of red look so good against the white tablecloth.
orange tapers and amber holders
If you are looking for a smaller candle holder idea, this one is for you. The orange tapers give the display its height while the amber holders stay short.
I love the matching amber vase beside them. For your own version, place the holders on a clear, heat-resistant surface rather than on books.
shells beneath a white candle
This coastal hurricane may just be one of my favorites here. The white candle sits in a dark raised cup, with sand and little shells visible underneath.
The flared rim and rippled glass are pretty all on their own. You don’t need a whole table of beach decorations to try this look.
fluted glass and white candles
I am obsessed with these tall fluted cylinders. The vertical lines look so pretty beside the smooth glass holders and white pillar candles.

Mix in a few short votives if you want to follow the same arrangement. Keep everything clear and white to let those shapes stand out.
leafy branches and gold accents
Want a little greenery without a big flower arrangement? This table pairs leafy branches with slim white tapers and floating candles.
The tiny gold-colored votive holders are my favorite part. Add a couple around the taller glass pieces if you like that extra bit of shine.
sculptural pink holders
How cute are these pink candle holders? The stacked rounded shapes and flared feet make them worth displaying even without candles, just like they are here.
I’d keep the surrounding table simple. That pink looks gorgeous against the black surface.
lanterns along the porch steps
Take the candle display outside with these glass-paneled lanterns. The larger ones sit beside the steps while smaller lanterns fill the spaces between them.
Try outdoor-rated flameless candles for your own porch. Keep the lanterns to the sides so the walking path stays clear.
pinecones in a footed hurricane
This is another lovely holiday idea. I love the pinecone and green accents around the white spiral candle inside the wide, footed hurricane.
Choose a flameless pillar for a version with decorations tucked around its base. A mirror behind the arrangement gives you that same reflected view.
little ribbed holders in color
Don’t want every candle holder to be tall? These little ribbed shapes give you a different option.
There’s pink, amber, green, clear and black all in one display.
The pink and golden-yellow pair is especially cute. Pick two colors if you’d rather keep your own arrangement smaller.
clear cylinders and rounded bases
If you’re looking for something simple, go with this pair of clear cylinders on thick brown bases. White pillars and narrow green sprigs fill the inside.
One holder is raised on books in the picture. I’d use flameless candles to try that same book-stacked display.
gold-flecked cups and twisted stems
I am obsessed with these tall stemmed holders. The gold-colored flecks around the cups are gorgeous, especially with those twisted clear stems.
Set a taller one behind a shorter one to follow this pairing. They have plenty of decoration without adding flowers.
clusters of cream pillars
Why choose just one candle for each cylinder? This display groups cream pillars of different heights inside wide glass vessels, with dark pebbles underneath.
For your own clustered version, use flameless pillars. I love how the row looks beneath the black-framed pictures.
a three-level hearth stand
This is a similar black stand idea to the one above, but the three upright stems share one round base. Each has a clear cylinder with a cream candle inside.
The narrow shape looks lovely beside the fireplace. Choose flameless candles for a display near curtains like this.
lemon yellow and leafy green
This picture is a floral project in progress rather than a glass candle holder display. A tall green form sits behind leafy stems, cream flowers and bright yellow lemon shapes.

If you like the colors, borrow them for a separate arrangement beside a plain glass holder. There’s no visible candle or glass holder here to recreate.
slim glass and gold stems
If you’re looking for a candle display without flowers or fillers, this one is for you. Three slim glass sleeves sit on gold-colored stems with round bases.
I love the white tapers against the dark tabletop. Keep the staggered heights and leave the space around them open.
goblet shapes and little gold lights
How pretty are these oversized goblet-shaped holders? The white pillars sit above a ring of greenery, with little gold-colored votives scattered around the outside.
The speckled finish on the smaller holders is such a lovely detail. Try flameless candles if you’re keeping the greenery close to the display.
pebbles and mossy green layers
Last but definitely not least, we have these clear cylinders with pebble-filled bottoms. I love the mossy green layer beneath the white pillars!
The tallest holder sits in the middle of the trio. Use flameless pillars for your own version so you can keep the decorative layers without an open flame.
