Looking for christmas mantel decor with tv that leaves room for your favorite holiday movie? Red berries, trailing greenery and little Christmas houses give you plenty to work with.
I especially love the big bows and gold-colored bells.
These 20 pictures include TV mantels plus a few displays with mirrors, artwork or wreaths instead. Those are inspiration to adapt beneath your screen, not examples of a TV setup.
You’ll find a couple of console ideas too!
Christmas mantel and TV decorating ideas
red berries and golden bells
We’re starting off strong with this gorgeous berry-covered garland. I love the long greenery hanging down the left side and those big gold-colored bells. The red ribbon looks so pretty against the black fireplace wall.
Try a holiday scene on your TV to bring that same red into the screen.
little trees and lettered stockings
No fireplace beneath your TV? This console gives you another place to hang your stockings.
The red and white letters make each one a little different.
I love the white reindeer between the small trees. Keep your own display low enough that the screen stays clear.
a red and white village
How cute is this little Christmas village? The red and white houses sit between dark green trees, with red bows at either end of the garland.
Follow this look with red stockings and white cuffs. The little houses already bring plenty of detail, so you don’t need lots of extra ornaments.
lit trees beside the TV
Don’t have a mantel and want to keep the TV wall simple? This picture takes the decorating to either side instead. Two tall lit trees in brown baskets frame the black fireplace wall.
I’d leave the trees without extra colorful decorations if you want this same understated look.
neutral stockings and snowy scenery
I am obsessed with the snowy forest on this screen. It looks so pretty above the loose greenery and cream, brown and tan stockings.
Group your stockings toward one end like these rather than spacing them across the whole mantel. The little gold-colored strand through the greenery is worth keeping too.
a glowing garland frame
If you are looking for something a little more over the top, this one is for you. A huge illuminated garland frames the TV console, with red stockings and round ornaments tucked throughout.
There’s no fireplace here. For a similar console setup, secure the garland independently of the TV and leave its ventilation clear.
white nutcrackers and black bows
This may just be one of my favorite neutral displays here. I love the tall white nutcrackers beside the TV and the black ribbons on the white stockings.
The lanterns on the hearth repeat that darker detail. For your own version, choose flameless candles and keep hanging decorations clear of the firebox.
trailing greenery and cream stockings
The long sweep of greenery on the left is so pretty in this display. Little red berry clusters and hanging bells give it just enough extra decoration.
A framed winter scene sits above this mantel. If you’re adapting the arrangement beneath a TV, keep the cream stockings grouped on the right and shorten the tall accents as needed.
a whole nutcracker collection
Calling all nutcracker fans! This mantel is packed with colorful figures, red flowers and berry-covered greenery.
Even the hearth has a tall nutcracker surrounded by reindeer.
There’s a wreath above this one rather than a TV. Borrow the smaller figures for a screen-friendly version instead of trying to fit the entire tall display underneath.
oversized red bows
How gorgeous are these big red bows? They sit across the lit garland with long tails hanging over the white fireplace.
This is another wreath-topped mantel, but the bows are a lovely detail to borrow beneath a TV. I’d use shorter ribbon tails wherever you need more clearance from the fireplace opening.
ribbon tails and hanging strands
I love this snowy forest screen with the white brick fireplace. The greenery dips across the mantel, with delicate strands hanging in loops beneath it.
Try red and patterned ribbon tails at the ends if you want that same touch of color. The small trees beside the screen are cute without taking over the display.
cream stockings and bead loops
Don’t want to add lots of red to your mantel? No problem!
This display pairs cream cable-pattern stockings with pale bead garlands and tiny white houses.
The picture has a framed Christmas sign rather than a TV. For your own TV mantel, borrow the low greenery and bead loops while leaving out the sign.
cream flowers in the greenery
This is such a pretty way to mix flowers into Christmas greenery. The pale flower clusters sit all along the garland, with one long end falling down the left.
An ornate mirror and bird figures fill the space above this mantel. I’d borrow just the floral garland for a TV setup and leave the taller decorations elsewhere.
red berries against gray stone
The red berries look gorgeous against this gray stone fireplace. I love how the garland stays beneath the TV before dropping down the right side.
Pale stockings hang on the opposite end. Keep that mix of red, green and cream if you want a similar look without adding lots of different colors.

a rainbow of little trees
How cute is this colorful tree collection? Cream and gray trees give way to orange, pink and deep green across the mantel.
There isn’t a garland or stocking in sight.
This one sits beneath a round mirror. If you’re trying the idea below a TV, choose tree heights that fit the gap under your screen.
a snowy Christmas village
I am obsessed with this little village. The glowing windows, snow-dusted trees and tiny white house are just adorable.
There’s a wreath above the scene rather than a television. To adapt it, try a row of shorter houses beneath your TV with a snowy-looking base and small lights between them.
gold leaves and silver ornaments
If you love lots of sparkle, this one is for you. Gold-colored leaves, silver-colored baubles and long hanging ornaments fill the greenery.
The white reindeer on top are so pretty too.
The wreath and mirror make this a taller arrangement than most TV mantels allow. Borrow the decorated garland on its own if your screen takes up that space.
white houses along a console
Want something a little simpler? This console has a small row of white houses, miniature reindeer and greenery trailing over the right edge.
A framed snowy scene hangs above it, so this isn’t a confirmed TV setup. Still, those low houses are a lovely idea to try on a media console beneath your own screen.
a long garland and hanging bells
Here’s a closer look at the berry-filled stone fireplace seen earlier. From this angle, you can really see the long greenery reaching down to the hearth on the right.
The gold-colored bells are my favorite little detail. Try a shorter version of that trailing end if you want to keep more of your hearth clear.
orange slices and brown ribbon
Last but definitely not least, we have this gorgeous orange-slice garland. I love the brown ribbon hanging between the leafy branches and the deep red tapers above it.
The close-up shows framed artwork, not a TV. Borrow the garland for your TV mantel and swap the tall tapers for shorter flameless candles if space is limited.
