Looking for boutique decor ideas that go beyond another clothing rack? Think hanging flowers, pretty jewelry trays and a mirror worth making room for.
These images include shop displays plus a few home and café corners with details you can borrow for your own space.
You can keep things simple or go all out. Start with a shelf or a small accessory display, then decide whether you want bigger changes like curved curtains or statement lighting.
Boutique displays and decorating ideas to save
curved counter and globe lights
We’re starting off with this pretty café counter, with clothing racks just behind it. I love the rounded end and all those narrow vertical slats.
The white globe lights are a lovely detail too.

For your boutique checkout, you could borrow the counter shape without adding the coffee setup.
hanging white flowers
How cute are these hanging flowers? The white looped petals and scalloped yellow centers are just adorable.
Try a little cluster above a seasonal display. Hang them at different heights if you want the flowers to overlap rather than sit in one straight row.
curved fitting-room curtains
I am obsessed with these curved curtain rails. The long white curtains gather at the floor beside tall arched mirrors, with little pendant lights overhead.

If you’re planning a fitting area, this is a pretty arrangement to take inspiration from. I’d choose curtains that stop just above the floor for my own version.
a single gold-tone rail
If you are looking for something simple, this one is for you. A gold-tone wall rail holds a small group of patterned and solid-colored clothes, with a narrow picture shelf above.
Try keeping one rail for a collection you want to highlight rather than filling every bit of wall space.
handbags on white shelves
These little bags look so pretty lined up on white floating shelves. I especially love the cream boxes with dark bows at the top.
The larger travel bags sit below while a tall mirror fills the space on the left. Borrow the shelf arrangement if you want your smaller accessories displayed front-facing.
floral busts and ornate frames
This jewelry display may just be one of my favorites. The white floral designs on the necklace busts are gorgeous beside the ornate gold-colored frames.
I love the upright earring display next to the large oval tray. Try mixing a standing display with a flat one so your necklaces don’t all have to hang.
round shoe shelves
Who says your shoe shelves have to be straight? These white circular platforms sit at different heights between rows of brown poles.
The gold-colored shoes look so cute against the white. Keep each pair on its own little platform if you want to follow this arrangement.
curving cream seats
I am obsessed with this seating arrangement. The cream seats curve around in opposite directions, with a little round table tucked beside them.

Long clothing rails run along the wall behind. If you have room for a seating area, this is a fun alternative to a straight bench.

a big mirror behind a bench
This home entryway has a detail worth borrowing: that gorgeous mirror with its curved top. I love the long brown bench in front and the leafy branches reaching across the reflection.
For a boutique version, you could use a similar bench for a small bag display. Leave another mirror clear for trying things on.
plants and a little gallery wall
If you are looking for a corner with lots of little details, then this one is for you. There’s an arched mirror, a rounded chair and greenery all around.
My favorite part is the mix of a hat, small mirrors and framed pictures on the right. Try a small grouping like this beside your main mirror.
cream stacks and brown accents
This is such a pretty way to group clothes and accessories together. Cream sweaters sit in folded stacks beside tan shoes, a basket and a pale vase wearing a brown necklace.
You don’t have to give every product its own separate area. Try placing a few coordinating accessories beside your folded clothes, just like this.
hats at different heights
How cute is this hat display? The pale hats sit on stands at different heights, with more hats stacked in the cubbies below.
The big bows are lovely, but that illustrated vase is my favorite extra detail. Add one patterned piece to your display if the rest is mostly plain.
a ladder for accessories
Don’t want to fill a whole wall with shelves? This ladder-style display gives you another option.
A wide-brim hat rests near the top while a rounded bag hangs by its strap from the same upper rung.
I love how little else is going on here. For your own display, secure the ladder before adding accessories.
clothes on a pegboard wall
This is another way to display clothes without one long rail. Short pegs project from the white pegboard, holding small groups of tops, shorts and dresses.
The rust-colored shorts are such a pretty touch beside the cream pieces. Try hanging a few coordinating items near one another to suggest an outfit.

a colorful wrapping corner
Love a little color? This wrapping setup has plenty, from the bright sheets on the left to the ribbon spools on the right.
Rolls of patterned gift wrap stand in tall bins below.
You could borrow this arrangement for a boutique packing area. I’d keep a clear work surface nearby for actually wrapping purchases.
baskets in different shapes
This photo shows a store aisle full of baskets rather than a finished boutique corner, but there’s plenty of storage inspiration here. There are pale rectangular bins, dark round baskets and boxes with loop handles.
For your own shelves, I’d pick one color family from this mix and repeat it instead of using every style.
pendant shades overhead
I love this ceiling full of open-patterned pendant shades. The round, flared and bell-shaped designs look so pretty against the dark teal background.
You could try a smaller cluster over a central display rather than filling the whole ceiling. Keep the mix of shapes if that’s the part you love too.
mannequins on round platforms
This window display is so good! The white mannequins sit and stand on round platforms at different heights instead of lining up in a row.
I especially love the seated pose at the front. Try mixing poses in your own display so you can show an outfit sitting down as well as standing.
a tall tree by the stairs
Bring a little inspiration from this café corner into your shop. The tall tree in its oversized pale pot is gorgeous, with a basket of wrapped flower bundles down below.
A smaller version could work beside a boutique staircase. Just keep the branches and basket out of the walking space.
a grid of fashion sketches
Last but definitely not least, we have this pretty wall of fashion illustrations. I love the detailed gowns and simple black frames.
Arrange your own chosen prints in three rows like these, with matching frames and generous white borders. This is a lovely option if you want decoration without adding another shelf.
