20 Bedroom Drawer Organization Ideas for Clothes, Jewelry and More

Looking for bedroom drawer organization ideas that go beyond stacking everything in a pile? Divided clothing rows, little jewelry compartments and clear pouches give you plenty to work with.

There are simple folding ideas here too, so you don’t have to buy an organizer for every drawer.

You can start with one crowded drawer or rethink the whole dresser. Pick the arrangement that suits what you actually keep inside, then measure before adding trays or dividers.

Drawer organization ideas to try in your bedroom

simple divided rows

We’re starting off with these neatly divided clothing rows. I love how the white, mustard, burgundy and blue pieces are all visible instead of buried under one another.

Try adjustable dividers like the ones pictured if you want separate lanes without adding a whole set of little boxes.

tees standing in line

If you are looking for something simple to recreate, this one is for you. The tees stand upright in long sections, with their folded edges facing up.

Fold yours to a similar width so they sit neatly beside each other. You can keep your whites together like this or sort the rows by the types of tops you wear.

honeycomb compartments

How cute is this honeycomb layout? The white walls form individual open cells, shown here on a marked backing outside a drawer.

For a similar drawer setup, try a honeycomb insert for little items such as socks. Check the cell size first rather than assuming your larger pairs will fit.

a place for every ring

I am obsessed with this jewelry drawer. The gray ring slots and little earring compartments are so pretty beside the rows of bracelets.

There’s even a section for a scrunchie. Give your own everyday jewelry a spot near the front if that’s what you reach for most.

clear closet drawers

Don’t have enough drawers in your dresser? These two clear drawer towers show another option for the space below hanging clothes.

I love that you can see the folded pieces through the fronts. Before trying this arrangement, check that your hanging clothes and closet door leave enough room to open each drawer.

colorful workout rows

This workout clothing drawer may just be one of my favorites here. The pink, purple and pale blue pieces look so good beside the darker rows.

No separate organizer is visible in this one. Try standing your folded workout bottoms upright before deciding whether you need dividers at all.

little gray grid organizers

If you’re looking for lots of small compartments, go with a grid layout like this. These gray organizers are pictured empty, so you can see each individual space.

I’d use this style for folded underwear or smaller pairs of socks. Measure the inside height of your drawer as well as its width before choosing one.

nightstand shopping inspiration

Thinking about your nightstand too? This image is a shopping-video cover for nightstand organization, rather than a view inside a finished drawer.

If your “drawer organization ideas bedroom” search started with bedside clutter, begin by sorting what you keep there. A small tray for loose essentials would be a useful option to look for, though no finished tray arrangement is shown here.

three sections for everyday basics

I love that this image shows the drawer both empty and filled. Two white dividers create three broad sections, with bras in the middle and smaller folded pieces along either side.

Try this arrangement if tiny individual compartments feel too fussy. You still get separate categories without boxing in every single item.

picture labels on the front

How sweet are these little picture labels? Underwear, socks and pajamas each have a simple black-and-white drawing beside the matching word.

Add similar labels if you want the contents to be clear before opening a drawer. Keep them in the same corner on each front to follow this look.

rows of colorful ties

The pattern lovers are going to love this! Folded ties sit upright in divided rows, with pink swirls, blue patterns and yellow stripes all on show.

More accessories hang below the pullout. For the drawer itself, keep the patterned ends facing up so you can choose without unfolding everything.

baskets beside folded clothes

This is a lovely way to mix baskets with open storage. Little socks fill the front basket while folded patterned clothes sit in a row on the right.

You don’t have to fill every inch with matching containers. Try a couple of baskets for the smallest pieces and leave a wider section for clothing.

makeup in shallow trays

I am obsessed with how clearly everything is laid out here. Round compacts sit together on the left, with tubes arranged in smaller trays and open palettes on the right.

If you keep makeup in your bedroom, borrow this shallow layout. Leave enough space to lift out a compact without moving the whole row.

sweaters in two rows

Don’t want lots of little compartments? No problem!

This sweater drawer has one central divider, with pale pieces on the left and mostly blue and gray on the right.

I especially love that the cable patterns and buttons are still visible. Fold the details you recognize toward the top when arranging your own.

a watch display drawer

This watch drawer is so pretty. Each watch wraps around its own dark blue cushion, with narrow gold-colored dividers separating the rows.

For a similar setup, choose a watch insert that fits your collection and drawer. I’d keep the faces pointing the same way, just like these.

storage beneath the bed

Running out of dresser space? These low rolling storage cases offer a drawer-style alternative under the bed.

One holds shoes while the other has rows of folded items beneath an open lid.

Measure your bed clearance before trying this idea. Remember to leave room beside the bed to pull the case all the way out.

a drawer for spare bedding

Want to keep spare bedding in the bedroom? This cover image introduces linen storage inside drawers, though it doesn’t show the arrangement itself.

One option to try is giving a spare sheet set its own drawer section. Keep matching pieces together rather than mixing them into your clothing rows.

shallow slots for ties

Here’s another tie arrangement, but it’s a little different from the upright rows above. These ties lie folded in individual shallow compartments, showing off their stripes and tiny repeating patterns.

The orange striped tie is my favorite detail. Try this flatter layout if you’d rather see a wider section of each pattern.

clear pouches in rows

How cute are all these colors together? Clear zip-top pouches stand upright between dividers, with bright pink, orange and floral clothing visible inside.

Try individual pouches for small coordinated pieces you want to keep together. You can still see the prints without opening every pouch.

jeans with pockets facing up

Last but definitely not least, we have this neatly divided jeans drawer. I love the light-blue pairs beside the darker blue, black and gray.

Fold yours with the pockets or waistbands visible to follow this arrangement. The long dividers give each row its own space without needing a separate box for every pair.
