Looking for bedroom ideas that go beyond a new set of pillows? Think pink paneling, green stripes or a whole wall of your favorite pictures.
These rooms have plenty to borrow, whether you love a simple bed setup or want flowers and color everywhere.
You can keep things simple or go all out. Start with the detail you love most, then work from there.
Even a bedside corner gives you somewhere to try something different.
Bedroom inspiration worth saving
attic beams and red stripes
We’re starting off strong with this pretty attic bedroom. I love the red-and-white striped bedding beneath those exposed beams.
The big round pendant is such a lovely detail.

Try a low bench at the foot of your bed if you have the space. A basket tucked underneath keeps the top free for a few favorite things.
pink panels and leafy walls
How cute is this pink bedside corner? The leafy wallpaper and gingham bedding look so pretty together, plus that little scalloped light is adorable.
If you’re collecting bedroom makeover ideas, save this wall combination. Pick a pink from your wallpaper for the paneling, then repeat it in your pillows.
green curves and sunny colors
I am obsessed with the colors in this inspiration collage. There’s a wavy green mirror, a yellow mushroom-shaped lamp and pink details all throughout.
You don’t have to use every piece to try the look. Start with green-striped bedding and a pink pillow, then add a colorful lamp if you want to go a little further.
floor-to-ceiling curtains
Don’t want to fill your walls with pictures? No problem! These pale curtains run across the wall and around the window instead.
I love the black-and-white rug next to the striped bedding. There’s plenty of pattern here without adding lots of little decorations.
brick walls and white bedding
This room may just be one of my favorites here. The white bedding looks gorgeous against the red-brown brick, especially with that little tiger-striped pillow.
Keep the bedding simple if you want to follow this look. A red patterned rug brings in another bit of color without covering up those beautiful walls.
a painted arch
If you’re looking for a wall detail without lots of extra decor, this one is for you. A large brown painted arch sits behind the floral bedding.
Try a similar arch behind your own bed. I’d keep the little mustard-edged pillow too, since it adds such a pretty touch beside the flowers.
a little window seat
How sweet is this window nook? The pale pink seat sits above drawers, with a floral pillow and a little shaded lamp beside it.
If you’re planning built-in storage, a seat beneath the window is worth considering. The tall cupboard alongside this one makes the whole corner feel like part of the same setup.

rust red and bright green
If you love a room with lots of color, then this one is for you. There’s a rust-red headboard, a turquoise floral backdrop and green bedside tables.
I especially love the long green pillow against the pale pink bedding. Try that pairing first if you’re not ready for a whole patterned wall.
a low bed and green stripes
Don’t want to go overboard with the decor? No problem!
This low platform bed, green-striped bedding and plain wall give you a much simpler direction.
The wide ledge beside the mattress is my favorite part. I’d leave most of it clear to keep this same uncluttered look.
a pretty dressing table
This is such a lovely way to decorate a dressing corner. The dark carved vanity has a large curved mirror, with little floral pictures arranged around it.
Add a white openwork runner and a small vase to try a similar look. That tiny teddy bear beside the bottles is a sweet extra touch.
a glowing canopy
I am obsessed with this canopy bed. The tied-back patterned curtains and tiny glowing lights look so pretty around the white scrollwork frame.
The pale pink bench at the foot of the bed is lovely too. Keep the surrounding colors light if you want this same cream-and-blush combination.
blue panels and pink flowers
This is another floral wall idea, but it’s a little different from the pink one above. I love the blue paneling beneath those big pink blooms.
The white bedside drawers keep the corner simple. Bring in a pink pillow and a vase of flowers if you want to repeat the wallpaper colors.
a reading corner
Got a spare corner in your bedroom? This reading setup gives you plenty of inspiration, with a pale lounge chair, a matching footrest and an arched gold-tone lamp.
Place a small table beside your chair for a book and a drink. The wall-mounted shelves are a lovely idea if you want your next read nearby.

landscapes above the bed
The little frames in this gallery wall are just too cute. I love how the oval and wavy ones sit between the much larger landscape pictures.
Start with a few larger pieces if you want to try this arrangement, then fill the gaps with smaller pictures. Pink, green and blue show up throughout the artwork here.
bunks with a middle staircase
This shared bedroom has so many lovely details. The central staircase separates two sets of bunks, with drawers beneath the lower beds and small shelves tucked into the divider.
I especially love the pale bedding with the striped throws. Save this as layout inspiration for a professionally planned bunk room rather than a quick furniture swap.
layered picture ledges
Want to display your pictures without copying a full gallery wall? Try white picture ledges like these.
The frames sit at different heights, with small plants tucked between them.
The gray-striped pillows and pale headboard keep the bed simple underneath. I’d stick with those quiet colors if the shelves are where you want all your favorite details.
black rails and gold details
I love this black bed frame with its gold-colored rails and round finials. The ornate mirror and hanging chandelier make the room even prettier.
Try white bedding with a deep blue throw to follow this combination. The blue also appears in the patterned rug beneath the bed.
a bedroom sitting area
If you have room for a little seating area, this is such a cute setup. Two white chairs sit around a round brown table, with pink bedding behind them.
The trailing plants and shelves full of books are my favorite details here. You could borrow the chair-and-table idea even without recreating the whole room.
a curtained wardrobe
There’s so much to love about this open wardrobe. Colorful clothes hang beneath a row of matching white boxes, with bags, baskets and shoes arranged below.
Try full-length curtains if you’d like the option of covering your storage. These white ones frame the wardrobe without adding another color beside all those clothes.
pink bedding and hanging plants
Last but definitely not least, we have this gorgeous pink bedroom. I love the burgundy pillows behind the dusty pink one, plus that little cream knot cushion.
The round glowing pendant and hanging greenery are so pretty overhead. Try a colored accent light if you want a splash of pink and orange on your wall too.
