Looking for rustic country valentine decor with lots of sweet little details? Red hearts, pink flowers and weathered-looking frames give you plenty to work with.
These ideas range from a simple bucket of tulips to a whole porch filled with Valentine decorations.
You can keep it simple or go all out. Start with a shelf, your front door or a favorite tabletop.
I especially love the patterned hearts, but there are some pretty neutral ideas here too!
Country Valentine Decorating Ideas to Try
red hearts and checked bows
We’re starting off strong with this gorgeous red heart wreath. I love the pale outlines around the two big hearts and all those curled ribbons.
The red roses are such a pretty extra touch.
Try red-and-cream checked bows if you want to bring the same country look to your door.
a bucket of red tulips
If you are looking for something simple, this one is for you. A gray bucket filled with red tulips looks so pretty on this weathered-looking tabletop.
The green leaves peeking out below the flowers are all the extra color it needs.
hearts across the cabinet
How cute is this cabinet garland? The red hearts hang at different heights beneath the greenery and little red berries.
Drape a similar garland across the top of your cabinet, then let a couple of hearts hang farther down at the sides. Those long striped ties are worth keeping.
pink hearts on a tiered tray
I am obsessed with this pink tray display. It’s so cute, plus the little pink buds among the tall green branches are adorable.
A pink pitcher sits on the lower tier with hearts and a bead garland. Try a cream heart beside your pink decorations like the one up top to break up the color a little.
a heart pillow and black plaid
Don’t want to change your whole living room for Valentine’s Day? No problem!
Try a pale pillow with a big red heart in front of your everyday cushions.
I love the black-and-white plaid behind it. The small pink and red hearts on the shelves carry the same idea into the background.
a tall love sign
This is a simple front-door idea to build on. The tall white sign has big red LOVE letters stacked down the front, with worn-looking edges around it.
Keep the surrounding decorations understated if you want the same look. The green plants and checked doormat are lovely beside it.
red roses in a cream jar
This flower arrangement may just be one of my favorites here. I love the deep red roses with the little green buds and spreading leaves.
Tie a dark green ribbon around a cream jar to try the same combination. You don’t need a heart on every Valentine decoration.
a little truck full of hearts
How adorable is this little truck? The cream pickup has a red heart on the hood and a whole Valentine display rising out of the back.
There’s a glittery heart, a big red rose and plenty of pink and checked ribbon. Save this one if you like your tabletop decorations a little more playful.
flowers on a round slab
If you are looking for a centerpiece with a country feel, then this one is for you. Clear jars and a tall wrapped bottle sit together on a bark-edged round, with red flowers among tiny white blooms.
The number marker makes this an event-table idea too. For your own dinner table, you could leave the number off and keep the flowers.
a berry heart with little birds
I am obsessed with this heart-shaped wreath. The bright red berries look gorgeous against the dark door, but those two little bird figures are my favorite part.
Choose a similar open-center design if you want the heart shape to show clearly without adding a big bow.
roses in a square crate
Here is another pretty way to display red roses. This time, they’re tucked into a small slatted crate with green berries and glossy leaves.
I love the looped handles rising above the flowers. Keep your arrangement low like this if you want the container to remain part of the display.
a framed heart and red accents
If you love decorating with red, there’s so much to save here. A large heart fills the weathered-looking frame, with bare branches tied in front of it.
Red flowers, little hearts and a red pitcher fill the surface below. To try a smaller version, start with the framed heart and just one flower arrangement.
love lettering and pink flowers
Don’t want to go overboard with the decorations? No problem!
This dark chalkboard-style sign has white LOVE lettering and a heart underneath.
The pink flower decorations on either side are so cute. Try a similar whitewashed-looking frame if you want to keep the display light around the dark center.
checked hearts across a console
The alternating hearts are so sweet on this little banner. Red checks sit beside plain white hearts, with white bows at the ends.
Hang a similar banner across your console to add a Valentine detail without covering the whole tabletop. I love the pastel flowers beside this one.
patterned hearts in an open frame
This is actually one of my favorite ideas on the list. The plump hearts hang inside an empty white frame, with floral prints, tiny red hearts and a plain cream one mixed together.
Try hanging yours at different heights like these. The stack of books and tall pitcher of greenery look lovely underneath.

a love bucket with gingham hearts
How cute are these red checked hearts? They rise out of a ribbed gray container, with one big cream heart right at the front.
The LOVE label and narrow red tie finish the display. If you want the glowing candle detail too, choose a flameless light to keep among the hearts and branches.
hearts hanging from shelf hooks
Give your kitchen shelf a little Valentine update with hanging hearts. I love the mix of red, checks and pale plaid beneath the row of black hooks.
Tie yours with pink or red ribbon and add a little greenery beside a couple of hearts. The white pitchers above keep the rest of this shelf nice and simple.
a porch filled with red hearts
Want to go all out? This porch has plenty of ideas, from red pillows on the curved seating to hearts hanging across the white walls.
The pale floral rug is so pretty beneath it all. Start with pillows and a few hanging hearts if you want to try the look without filling every corner.

an open heart with flowers
I love this heart wreath with its little pink flowers and trailing greenery. The brown branches stay visible around the upper right side, so you can still see that lovely heart shape.
A big tan bow with white patterned trim sits at the lower left. I’d keep that detail if you’re choosing a similar wreath.
pale hearts in a round bowl
Last but definitely not least, we have this pretty neutral centerpiece. I am in love with the blush and cream hearts nestled among the mossy-looking greenery.
The broad round bowl shows off the whole arrangement. Try this one if you want a Valentine table without bright red or pink.
