Looking for preppy tv stand decor with a little personality? Pink books, blue-and-white jars and scalloped trays give you plenty to work with.
These ideas include TV setups plus a few console and accessory looks you can borrow from.
You can keep things simple or go all out with color. Start with your favorite detail, whether that’s a striped tray or a pair of blue lamps, then leave enough room for your screen.
TV Stand Styling and Pretty Details to Try
colorful books and blue jars
We’re starting off strong with these gorgeous shelves around the TV. I love the pink books beside the blue-and-white jars. The little shell decorations are so pretty too.
Try grouping your books by color like this, with turquoise lower down and green on an upper shelf.
plants and tiny figurines
How cute are those little figurines? They fill the open middle shelves while two potted plants sit on either end of the console.
This setup holds a record player rather than a TV. Borrow the shelf display if you want somewhere to show off your own small collection.
pink curves and a red lamp
I am obsessed with this colorful buffet arrangement. The red dome lamp, pink vase and bright book stack are just so cute together.
There isn’t a TV here, but the accessories give you plenty of ideas. Try the pink vase and a small striped bowl on your stand without copying the tall arrangement behind them.
pink hearts and gold rings
This TV setup may just be one of my favorites here. I love the rows of pink hearts on the screen above that pale cabinet with gold-colored ring pulls.
Keep little framed photos at the ends and short book stacks underneath the screen to follow this look.
a gold frame and perfume trays
If you love a little sparkle, this ornate TV frame is worth saving. The gold-colored border looks so pretty above the perfume bottles and tiny white flowers.
Try grouping your bottles on a tray instead of spreading them across the whole surface. Leave the frame as the main decoration.
blue accents and coastal shelves
Don’t want to go all out with pink? No problem! This room brings in blue through the vases, artwork and striped pillows.
The TV cabinet itself stays simple with a small plant beside the screen. If you have shelves above yours, try a few blue vessels and a shell-shaped decoration like these.
a burgundy striped tray
The stripes on this tray are so cute. There’s a little pleated-shade lamp, a blue-and-white cup and a gold-colored shell dish all in one arrangement.

For a TV stand version, I’d borrow the tray and little dishes but skip the lit candles near the screen. You still get plenty of pretty details.
a pink bow shelf
OMG, how adorable is this bow-shaped shelf? The pink ribbon wallpaper makes it even sweeter.
This is a separate wall detail rather than a TV setup. A shelf like this beside your media area could hold a couple of tiny decorations if you want to bring in the same bow theme.
pink tulips and white waves
If you are looking for a simple accessory pairing, this one is for you. Pink tulips sit in a tall white ridged vase beside a wavy white mirror.

Try the vase at one end of your TV stand. I’d save the mirror for a nearby surface where it won’t compete with the screen.
matching blue lamps
I love this pair of blue lamps with their rounded stacked bases. The blue-and-white flower jar and pink books look gorgeous between them.
This console has a mirror above it rather than a TV. Borrow the matching lamps for a wide media console if they can sit clear of the screen.

hanging vines and pink accents
The hanging green strands make this TV wall look a little different. A white dresser sits underneath with small organizers and pink accessories across the top.
Try a few pink containers if you want the same color detail. Keep any decorative vines away from the TV’s vents and connections.
three baskets and bright pink
Don’t want lots of little decorations on display? Look no further because this basket arrangement is for you.
Three rectangular baskets line the top of the white stand.
I especially love the bright pink trays tucked into the outer cubbies. That little bit of color is enough to make the simple setup feel playful.
colorful books and a disco ball
How cute is this coffee table display? Not gonna lie, the little disco ball on the pink books is my favorite part!
The TV shelves behind it are much simpler, with storage bins and a black animal figure. Borrow one colorful book stack for your stand if you want to connect the two areas.
holiday greenery and big bows
This is such a pretty holiday version of a TV wall. I love the two large tan bows on the garland above the screen.
A second line of greenery runs across the console with little white trees and pale ornaments. Try battery-operated candles if you want to add a similar glow beside your decorations.
colorful scalloped trays
The scalloped edges are just too cute here. There’s pink, yellow, pale blue and a darker olive shade to choose from.
These trays aren’t shown on a TV stand, but a small one could hold your remotes and a little decorative bowl. I’d choose the pink for a white console.
small plants and neutral shelves
If you’re looking for a quieter starting point, go with this white cabinet and potted greenery. The open middle shelves hold pale bowls and a short stack of books.

You don’t have to fill every space. Swap in a pink or blue book if you want a little more color than the arrangement shown here.
bird prints and gold outlines
If you love framed artwork, there’s so much to save here. Bird pictures surround the TV, with gold-colored wall trim continuing around the whole arrangement.
The long black cabinet has a tall flower arrangement at one end and two candleholders at the other. I’d keep those simple groups rather than adding more across the middle.
basket cubbies and blue details
This is another pretty way to use baskets under your TV. The larger ones fill the bottom row while the upper cubbies hold books and blue-and-white decorations.
I love the tall blue patterned piece in the right-hand cubby. Keep a few upper compartments open if you want room for details like that.
a coastal gallery wall
The little anchor above the TV is such a sweet detail. White and silver-colored picture frames surround it, with pale blue decorations inside the cabinet below.
Try a mix of oval and rectangular frames to follow this gallery wall. The single basket in the bottom opening gives you somewhere to tuck away smaller items.
rainbow books and trailing greenery
Last but definitely not least, we have this cute white cubby stand. I love the colorful book spines and the plant trailing down the left side.
Little figures, framed pictures and tiny pots fill the shelves without all matching. Turn some books upright and stack others flat to leave room for your favorite pieces.
