Looking for farmhouse decor for mobile homes that goes beyond a few wall signs? Think white cabinets, brown shelving, checked pillows and a pair of rocking chairs on the porch.
These pictures give you plenty of details to borrow, whether you’re decorating one corner or planning a bigger update.
You can keep things simple or go all out. Start with a basket of kitchen favorites, or save the wall trim and ceiling details for your renovation plans.
I especially love the little touches that don’t need a whole room makeover.
Farmhouse decorating ideas worth saving
white walls and vintage-style seating
We’re starting off strong with this pretty mix of striped seating and dark brown furniture. I love the green chair beside the fireplace. The leafy wreath looks lovely against those white horizontal boards.
Try patterned pillows in muted green and red if you want to bring a little color into a similar room.
open shelves above the sink
How cute is this kitchen? The gray cabinets and white apron-front sink look so good with the brown counters. Those black cup pulls are a favorite detail too!
For a similar shelf display, group white dishes together and keep your clear glasses on their own shelf.
gray seating and pale furniture
If you are looking for a farmhouse living room with the TV front and center, this one is for you. The pale coffee table and TV cabinet sit beside gray seating, with a patterned rug filling the space between them.
I love the little round clock above the screen. It fits neatly beneath the display shelf.
a rustic sliding door
I am obsessed with this sliding door. The uneven brown coloring and black track are so pretty against the white walls.
Through the doorway, a shelf of books and a string of little lights sit above the bed. Borrow that bedroom detail if you’re after a smaller change than adding a door.
a round mirror and baskets
This bathroom may just be one of my favorites here. I love the round brown-framed mirror above the white vanity. The baskets on the wall shelves and lower vanity shelf are just as cute.
Try a cream striped rug to follow the same simple color scheme.
an x-base coffee table
Want a little rustic detail without replacing all your seating? Take a look at this coffee table with its pale X-shaped base and dark top.
Gray sofas surround a cream patterned rug, with deer mounts flanking the TV. I’d borrow the table and tall candleholders for a smaller farmhouse update.
rocking chairs and red checks
How adorable is this porch? The brown rocking chairs and red checked tablecloth make such a sweet pairing.
A pot of red flowers sits right in the middle of the table.
Don’t forget the greenery if you’re trying a similar arrangement. The potted plants along this porch are a lovely finishing touch.
a farmhouse table and dark wall
If you are looking for something a little bolder, then this one is for you. The dark accent wall has diagonal trim behind the TV, with a large brown dining table in the foreground.
I love the mix of cross-back chairs and a long bench. You don’t have to use matching chairs all the way around.
an entry bench with storage
This entryway is just so cute. There are baskets in the upper cubbies, drawers beneath the bench and a row of black hooks across the wall.
The little wreath is my favorite part. Hang one from a spare hook if you want a bit of decoration among your everyday bags.
a broad brown ceiling feature
Love a rustic ceiling detail? This work-in-progress picture shows a broad brown feature across the room opening, with dark patches and visible seams.
Save this as a visual reference for a renovation discussion rather than an installation guide. The picture doesn’t show how the overhead pieces are secured.
white dishes and leafy shelves
I am obsessed with these shelves. The stacks of white dishes look gorgeous against the brown shelving and black brackets.
Keep the leafy pots up top if you want to follow this arrangement. The row of clear jars on the counter is another pretty detail worth borrowing.
simple vertical wall trim
Don’t want to cover your walls with signs or pictures? This unfinished trim layout gives you another idea.
Narrow vertical strips run beneath a horizontal rail, leaving the upper wall plain.
For a finished version, I’d choose the same paint color for the wall and trim. That’s a suggestion for the next step, not the finish shown here.
a checked reading corner
This little chair corner may just be my favorite spot on the list. I love the checked curtains beside the cream chair and the framed botanical print above it.
Try a striped pillow with a checked throw if you want to mix patterns without adding lots of colors.
laundry baskets and stripes
Even the laundry room can have a little farmhouse detail! This one pairs brown counters with a black-and-white striped rug and a white cabinet surrounded by dark open shelves.
The laundry baskets tucked beneath the side counter are worth saving as storage inspiration. A small lamp and a few plants finish the room.
brown shutters and white siding
Bring the farmhouse look outside with this brown-and-white combination. I love the decorative patterned panels inside the nearest shutters.
The black hardware makes them even prettier.
The brown vertical skirting repeats the shutter color along the bottom of the home, with a neat row of small plants beside the walkway.
a basket of kitchen favorites
Don’t want to go all out with a kitchen makeover? No problem!
Try grouping utensil holders, a cookbook and a bottle inside a shallow basket like this.
The blue floral design on the larger crock is so pretty. I’d keep that little touch of color rather than making every piece match.
a classic white mantel
If you love a simple fireplace surround, save this white mantel as inspiration. The stepped trim across the top gives it a little detail without lots of decoration.
This is still an installation scene, with packaging visible inside the opening. Once a suitable installation is complete, a framed print above it could be a pretty addition.
a narrow bathroom wall cabinet
This is a different way to bring rustic details into a bathroom. The tall cabinet has ribbed gray sides, brown shelf edges and a drawer at the bottom.
I love how the bottles are grouped on separate shelves. Try a similar narrow organizer if your available wall space is beside the vanity rather than above it.
a rustic ceiling panel
Here’s another ceiling detail worth a closer look. A rectangular brown panel with a raised border is being held against the white ceiling.
The finished purpose and attachment aren’t visible, so keep this one as design inspiration only. I especially like the rough-looking surface against the plain ceiling.
plaid pillows and cream stripes
Last but definitely not least, we have this pretty pillow combination. I love the brown plaid beside the cream striped designs!
The raised patterns and fringed edges give you plenty of detail without bright colors.
Drape a checked throw over the back of your sofa if you want to follow the same look.
