Looking for nursery decor above dresser inspiration? A round mirror, little animal prints or a painted arch gives you plenty to work with.
These pictures include dresser arrangements plus a few ideas from other walls that you could adapt for your changing area.
You can keep it simple or go all out with color. Just keep decorations and cords out of your baby’s reach, secure wall pieces properly and anchor the dresser.
Crib displays here are decor inspiration, not safe-sleep setups.
Nursery dresser and wall ideas worth saving
round mirror and pink flowers
We’re starting off strong with this pretty round mirror and pale dresser. I love the pink flowers beside the little elephant.
The pink pattern on the changing pad brings that color into the rest of the arrangement.
If you want something simple on the wall, a single thin-framed mirror like this is plenty.
animal pictures and a round mirror
That little owl picture is so sweet! White frames in different sizes sit above and beside the round mirror, with a dark dresser underneath.
Searching for nursery decor ideas above dresser setups? Try a mix of animal pictures and nature prints like this.
I’d keep the white frames to tie them together.
white shelves and trailing greenery
This is a lovely way to fit a mirror and shelves on the same wall. The round mirror sits to the left while two white shelves hold framed art, small decorations and a trailing plant.
I especially love the little gold-colored knobs on the dresser. They look so pretty with the thin mirror frame.
a blush arch behind the dresser
Don’t want to fill the wall with frames? No problem! This blush arch gives the white dresser a backdrop all on its own.
This isn’t a changing-station setup, but the painted shape is an idea you could borrow for a nursery. Leave the tall floor mirror and tabletop styling out of your version if you want to keep things simpler.
animal art and striped horns
If you love animal decor, this wall has such a fun mix. The sculptural animal head has long striped horns, with a giraffe print beside it and a bison picture below.
No dresser is shown here. For your dresser wall, I’d borrow the framed animal artwork rather than place a projecting decoration over the changing area.
sunburst mirror and tiny treasures
I am obsessed with this sunburst-style mirror. The rows of narrow spokes look so pretty above the white dresser.
There’s plenty to look at beside it too, from the little rainbow hanging between the shelves to the tiny shoes below. Choose a couple of those details if you want a less filled-in version.
a large script name
Want to make the wall a little more personal? The oversized script name does just that against this pale gray-blue background.
It’s shown above a crib, not a dresser. You could adapt the lettering idea for a separate dresser wall, with the sign securely mounted out of reach.
cream fringe on a blue wall
I love this cream wall hanging against the pale blue walls. The curved rows and long fringe are so pretty beside the rounded crib and chair.

This picture shows a nursery corner rather than a dresser arrangement. Borrow the blue-and-cream colors for your dresser wall if you like the look without the hanging cords.

pegboard and colorful artwork
How fun is this little display? There’s a dollhouse, red mushrooms and rows of toys against a white pegboard.
Colorful drawings hang across the wall above.
This is a play-storage area rather than a changing station. For a nursery dresser, you could borrow the idea of framing a few colorful drawings while keeping small toys elsewhere.
gold-colored frames and pale blue
This gallery wall may just be one of my favorites here. I love the mix of square, rectangular and oval frames above the pale blue dresser.
The little scalloped mirror is worth a closer look too. Try mixing one small mirror into your own collection of flower prints and family pictures.
rainbows and bright dots
If you are looking for something colorful, this one is for you. Bright dots cover the upper wall, with a cloud-shaped shelf and glowing rainbow below.
The turquoise, yellow and pink drawer knobs are so cute! You could repeat those colors in wall art for a similar look without adding a corded light over the changing pad.
oval mirror and a rabbit lamp
How adorable is that rabbit lamp? Its green shade looks lovely beside the tall oval mirror and the tiny flowers on the dresser.
The curved drawer fronts and patterned wallpaper give you plenty of detail already. I’d keep any extra wall pictures small if you wanted to add more.
round mirror and little hangers
This is another mirror-and-shelf combination, but it’s a little different from the one above. I love the pale frames around the shelves and the row of little empty hangers underneath.
A teddy bear and framed pictures decorate the shelves. Keep that same small selection if you want to leave plenty of open space around each piece.

world map and botanical pictures
Looking for something other than a mirror? This large framed map is a lovely starting point.
Two smaller botanical pictures sit beside it, with a little globe on the dresser below.
The olive-colored changing pad picks up the muted greens in the artwork. That’s a color pairing I’d keep.
a closer look at the pink arch
Here’s a closer view of the blush arch shown earlier. You can see how it stretches across most of the dresser without covering the whole wall.
The bottle rack and books belong to this non-nursery arrangement. For your own nursery version, borrow the painted backdrop and swap the tabletop display for changing supplies.
ornate mirror and shaded sconces
I am obsessed with the decorative edges on this tall mirror. The small shaded sconces on either side make the wall feel a little dressier without adding more pictures.
The curved changing pad sits below on a pale dresser. If you’re planning a similar lighting arrangement, keep the fixtures and any wiring well beyond your baby’s reach.
a crescent moon and stars
How cute is this moon-shaped shelf? Little decorations sit inside the crescent, with three stars arranged around it.
The pale colors keep the wall simple above the wide dresser. You could also try flat moon-and-star artwork if you’d rather skip a shelf over the changing area.
book ledges around two pictures
If you love a colorful book cover, this is such a sweet idea. Four white ledges frame a pair of pictures above the little white dresser.
I love that the covers face forward instead of showing only the spines. For your own setup, place the ledges where books stay out of reach during changes.
animals with musical instruments
These animal pictures are just too adorable. There’s a giraffe with a saxophone, a fox with a violin and a deer with a harp across the three large prints.
The matching pale frames look lovely above the dresser’s patterned drawer fronts. A few little animal figures below repeat the theme without filling the entire top.
pastel flowers and small botanical prints
Last but definitely not least, we have this gorgeous pastel flower wall. I love the pink, mint and lavender blooms!
They sit above the crib, while three smaller botanical pictures hang over the dresser to the left.
For your dresser wall, I’d borrow that little trio of prints and bring the flower colors into the artwork. You don’t have to recreate the whole floral display.
