Looking for entryway nook decor that makes that little spot by your door feel a bit more inviting? Think striped bench cushions, a pretty mirror or a shelf with room for your keys.
These ideas include small wall arrangements as well as built-in benches with plenty of storage underneath.
You can keep it simple or go all out with patterned wallpaper and framed art. I especially love the little corners that leave room for your everyday bags and shoes too.
Entryway Nook Ideas Worth Saving
stripes and little wall hooks
We’re starting off strong with this cute striped bench and its two drawers underneath. I love the patterned pillows against the pale paneled wall.
Keep a few hooks above your seat for coats and a favorite tote. A small vase of flowers on the windowsill is a pretty finishing touch.
round mirror and key shelf
Don’t have room for a whole entryway table? No problem! This narrow brown shelf has a long divided compartment built into it, with hooks underneath for keys and an umbrella.
The large black-rimmed mirror is my favorite part. Try a tall, narrow vase of leafy stems on one side if you want to follow this arrangement.
staggered shelves and trailing leaves
How cute is this little shelf display? The trailing plant reaches down past both shelves, with smaller plants and framed pictures tucked beside it.
Try staggering two shelves rather than lining them up. You can mix in a speckled vase and a couple of tiny ornaments like the ones here.
olive seat and patterned wallpaper
I am obsessed with this wallpaper and olive-green cushion combination. The blue and tan pillows are so pretty against the white bench surround.
Baskets fill the open cubbies below. Don’t forget the wall space above your seat if you want somewhere to hang a hat or small bag.
brown paneling and flower tiles
If you love a darker entryway, this one is for you. The brown paneled wall sits behind a long bench, with a wide floral picture above the hooks.
Those little black flower shapes on the floor are adorable. For a smaller change in your own nook, try baskets under a bench and one striped pillow at the end.
heart cutouts and a shoe bench
This shelf may just be one of my favorites here. I love the little heart cutouts along the bottom and the hanging basket of greenery.
A small shoe bench sits below with a mustard-colored pillow on top. Keep your shoes on the lower shelves to leave the seat free.
slim table and dark lampshade
If you are looking for something simple to put together, this one is for you. A narrow brown table holds a lamp, a shallow key dish and a small vase.
Lean a black-and-white print beside your mirror to try the same look. I’d keep the dark lampshade too.
a chair with autumn details
Who says you need a bench? This little chair has a draped throw, a book and a white pumpkin on the seat, with more books stacked underneath.
I love the swan-shaped ends on the hook rail above it. The deep red flowers beside the chair make this such a pretty autumn arrangement.
a nook under the stairs
I am obsessed with this under-stair bench. The broad striped cushion and mix of floral pillows look so lovely beside the little bookshelf.
There are drawers below the seat too. If you’re planning a built-in nook, save this one for its combination of seating, books and tucked-away storage.
round mirror and knotted wall hanging
This is such a cute way to decorate a small corner. The round mirror and long knotted wall hanging sit above a narrow shelf, with a brown patterned pillow on the bench below.
Try adding a few pegs to the adjoining wall for your tote and jacket. That leaves the shelf available for little pictures and plants.
olive paneling and storage crates
Want to go a little bolder with the paint? This olive-green wall and matching bench are worth saving.
I especially love the gold-tone hooks against the green.
Three brown crates sit in the openings below the patterned seat cushion. The white walls around the nook let you keep the rest of the hallway simple.
blue bench and landscape pictures
How pretty is this blue bench? The checked cushion, plaid pillows and plain cream pillow look so cute together.
Hang a mix of landscape pictures above your seat if you want a similar arrangement. Keep one taller picture near the middle and fit the smaller ones around it.
white cabinets and an oval mirror
Don’t want open baskets or lots of little decorations? No problem there!
This row of white cabinets keeps the storage behind closed fronts, with a long brown surface above.
I love the tall oval mirror and black candleholder. A vase on a short stack of books gives you another little detail without filling the whole top.
a gallery wall above the bench
If you are looking for lots of picture inspiration, then this one is for you. There are landscapes, flowers and tiny oval frames beneath two black picture lights.
The bench below stays fairly simple with a pale cushion and two patterned pillows. Try a dark checked throw over one side to follow this look.

vertical slats and a pale seat
If you’re looking for a nook without lots of accessories, go with this slatted-wall idea. Small pegs run across the vertical lines, with a pale bench cushion below and a taller cabinet at one end.
I’d leave the seat just like this rather than adding a pile of pillows.
white paneling and black lights
This is another pretty built-in bench idea, but the horizontal wall lines give it a different look. I love the dark seat above the white paneled base.
The shelf holds two baskets with greenery between them. A black double wall light above it repeats the dark detailing of the hanging lantern.
blue-and-white accents
The blue-and-white umbrella stand is my favorite part of this corner. A matching patterned vase holds tall leafy branches on the curved brown table.

Try leaning a small framed picture in front of a larger gold-tone mirror. A big basket beneath the table gives you somewhere to gather the extras.
a framed bench nook
How gorgeous is this little arrangement? The pale brown surround frames a white paneled wall, with a rectangular mirror between two gold-tone sconces.
I love the neutral pillows grouped at one end of the bench. For an everyday version, you could move the large flower arrangement off the seat to make more room for sitting.
pinecones and leafy stems
Don’t want to add another shelf or picture? Try a wreath instead.
This one has a brown twig circle with pinecones and leafy stems gathered mostly along the lower right side.
The loose branches are so pretty. Hang a similar wreath above your entryway bench if you want a seasonal detail without using any floor space.
arched mirror and shaded lamps
Last but definitely not least, we have this pretty dark cabinet and arched mirror. I love the white vase of flowers beside the little shaded table lamp.
A shallow patterned bowl sits on stacked books in the middle. Try keeping your everyday keys in a bowl like this so they have a spot among the decorations.
